Certified Lover Boy

Now everyone knows that I am a certified Drizzy Drake fan, from lil skinny Aubrey on Degrassi to now as a Certified Lover Boy. I purposely waited to hear the hype from everyone, all my friends, my cousins EVERYONE before I actively listened to the album. Now when I say I listened to the album I mean I listened  to the album. I listened while detangling my hair, I listened while deep conditioning my hair. So when I tell you physically could not agree less with *some* of y’alls opinions (she says ever so respectfully), I mean it. The one opinion that I do agree with is the ‘the Lonely at the Top’ mentality that Drizzy has going for him. I believe that he unintentionally made that shining light in his album from ‘Way 2 Sexy’ to ‘Girls Want Girls’, he showed definitively that he is one for entertainment even when ish seems to be going down EVERYWHERE. It’s not like he did not mention what was going on with covid I guess like he did in ‘Champagne Poetry’ where he is really raw and honest about everything that is happening to him because of the industry. Now ‘Get Along Better’ really Drake really? That’s all I am going to say. I also love that Drake is now more open about being a father even though he never wanted to be, and how he views serious relationships and co-parenting, which is really mature of him. All in all this album is a whole ass mixing pot, and I like it. I was really hoping that it would not be an “I only love my bed and my mama I’m sorry” type of an album and he really did not disappoint. There is something for everyone. Ye, I’ll get to you at some point.
